Principal's Message

The staff at Monlux Elementary/STeM Magnet School welcomes you and your family to the 2022-2023 School Year. We are committed to doing all we can to make this school year a safe and successful experience for every student and help every student reach their full potential. We believe that a home/school partnership is essential for the success of all of our students. Learning is a wonderful lifelong adventure. It involves sharing ideas, making mistakes, and attempting new experiences. Learning involves hard work by everyone, the teacher, the parent, the principal, and most importantly the student.

 

At Monlux, we value the diversity of our students, challenge them through educational rigor, and provide multiple opportunities for success. Instruction is based on the Common Core Standards. We also focus on the district’s goals, which include encouraging our students to be collaborative workers, self-directed learners, participants in society, information processors, effective communicators, and complex thinkers. Our students’ safety and success is at the center of all we do.
